While mindfulness can’t stop the waves, it can certainly teach us how to surf – Teach us to surf the stresses of our daily lives and allow us to live with a little more ease.
Mindfulness can positively impact us on a personal, interpersonal and professional level. It can give us the skills to connect with ourselves, and with others, with kindness and gentleness.
Mindfulness Based Interventions (MBIs), specifically Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) have been shown to reduce symptoms of stress, burn-out, anxiety and depression, among others.
